LibreWolf Browser 117.0-1-1 free instal2/24/2024 Still it has a "private mode" as a separate function. Librewolf has no such setting, defaults to clear the history. Is there someone who knows how to achieve this with LibreWolf?Īlso, most docs about Firefox say that "default private mode" is achieved by setting it to "Clear history" at program close. I tried adding "-private-window" as in Firefox. It ignores any click and also running the command from a cmd shell results in nothing. If I do the same with LibreWolf the browser just not start. I did this by tweaking the CLASSES_ROOT\Shell\Open command in the registry, as most browsers just require a -private/-incognito/-inprivate switch. In this way if I have, and I usually do, an open instance of the browser and click on a link in an email it opens a new tab in the existing private mode session. Alternatively, if your aim is solely to receive notifications upon new version releases, the unofficial LibreWolf Updater extension is a suitable option.ĭownload: LibreWolf 112.0.1-2 | Portable | Other Operating Systems ~100.Hi, on every browser I installed eventually I configured it to be the default browser, and by default to start in private mode. To receive automatic updates, you may refer to the unofficial LibreWolf-WinUpdater that employs a scheduled task to accomplish the same.
